As part of a four member boutique agency, my main duties were designing new clientele's corporate identities, project managing all web media; websites, flash banners, online catalogs. Implemented online management tool to help the Principal with macro project management for the company.
When I joined Media Contour it was barely a year old, and I was brought on as it's first in-house designer. At first I was responsible for all of the visual and creative needs, but as time went on, and the company grew, my responsibilities expanded to include client relations, project management and business development. Within one year of becoming the company's creative director, I began developing the design and development workflow that started with the very first introductory sales meeting all the way through to the final launch. In just over two years, I helped the CEO grow the staff from just two employees to a team of seven, and revenue nearly doubled each year I was there.
These start-up companies were created by my partner and I to create CartWIZ, an easy-to-use ecommerce software solution for all types of industries, for all different levels of internet knowledge users, to create visually influential eCommerce websites. I co-managed 8 employees, over 300 monthly subscribed customers and over 50 separate web-development projects unrelated to our ecommerce solution package. With a successful run for a little over three years, my partner and I parted our separate ways to pursue other dreams and goals.
While developing and executing designs for clients and handling all phone correspondence, I was also appointed to handle press checks for large press runs. Self-managed the agency for two months and left in charge of the largest print catalog project the company had to date.
